We didn’t start as engineers, entrepreneurs, or business guys.

We started as fabricators.

Metal melters

About Us

For over a decade, our parent company, Sea to Sky Welding, has been building—custom homes, commercial buildings, one-off truck decks, and fixing a neighbor’s cracked lawnmower when it needed it. Fabrication isn’t something we pivoted into; it’s the foundation we’ve always worked from.

Working alongside Off Grid Customs, we developed a platform that integrates with both traditional and composite campers, designed to be shipped and mounted anywhere. This approach saves time and money by eliminating unnecessary vehicle transport and logistical headaches.

While we’re a new product in the space, the craftsmanship behind it is well proven. Our lead times are typically 4-12 weeks from final design sign-off. We know that once you decide to go boondocking, waiting is the hardest part—and we’ve built our process to keep that wait as short and predictable as possible.

A note from Bob

We’re located in the heart of the Sea to Sky corridor in southwestern British Columbia, where we’ve been building and fabricating metal for over a decade. Our move into deck building was a slow burn. For years, we built a handful of custom decks annually for local customers, never expecting it to grow into a business of its own.

Fun Facts About Our Shop

We’re nationally certified in the construction of steel and aluminum products. What does that mean for a deck? It means the same care, principles, and scrutiny that go into structural steel and aluminum work on our projects are applied to every deck platform we build. We follow strict weld procedures, are audited twice yearly, and our welders complete formal weld testing every two years to ensure quality and consistency aren’t assumed—they’re verified.

That means the person you’re talking to is likely an owner. From our office and financial manager, Brittney, to our designer, Ian, and our floor manager, Tyson, the people managing every aspect of your build are the same people with real skin in the game and a personal stake in getting it right.
